Who we are

Land a House is a browser extension that lets a household save and track UK property listings together. It is operated by Edu IT Solutions Limited (UK). Contact: hello@landahouse.com.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and a password (handled by Supabase authentication; we never see your password in plain text).
• Household data: a household name, its invite code and its member list.
• Property data you choose to save: listing details (address, price, photos URL, features), your status, rating, notes and viewing dates.
• Derived area statistics: crime figures, nearby schools, stations and sold prices fetched from public data sources for the listings you save.

What we don't collect

• No browsing history — the extension only reads Rightmove listing pages you visit, and only acts when you save or refresh a listing.
• No analytics, no advertising trackers, no sale of data to anyone.

Where your data lives

All data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database and is only accessible to members of your own household, enforced by row-level security. Transactional emails (such as email verification) are sent via Brevo.

Third-party data sources

To enrich saved listings the extension queries public APIs: postcodes.io, data.police.uk, OpenStreetMap (Nominatim/Overpass), nomisweb.co.uk, findthatpostcode.uk and Rightmove's public endpoints. Only the listing's coordinates or postcode are sent — never your identity.

Your rights

You can delete any saved property from the dashboard at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@landahouse.com and we'll complete it within 30 days.
